Bespoke Hire Systems
We design systems tailored specifically to your event to ensure coverage, channel capacity, resilience and security.
We offer Motorola's Capacity Plus digital trunking solution allowing greater flexibility and increased capacity through more efficient use of channels. This system is ideal for large events where there is a high volume of calls using multiple channels across a large site.
Peace of Mind Hire Support
We provide full customer support during the hire period including a dedicated out of hours phone number. For larger events we can offer on site support for the duration of the event.
Mark Comms is a member of the National Outdoor Events Association (NOEA) and the Association of Festival Organisers (AFO) and provides services to many of their members.
Event Frequency Management
Standard hire equipment is covered by our Ofcom licence for use throughout the UK. If your hire requirement is outside the UK, international frequencies can be arranged.
For larger events or when communications are more critical, we can assist with frequency planning and co-ordination by obtaining frequencies from Ofcom specifically for your event. This avoids potential interference issues and provides greater security.
Case Study - Victorious Festival
Victorious Festival is a 3 day music event held in Portsmouth attracting 150,000 visitors each year. Mark Comms has worked with the organisers since 2012 to provide a bespoke event communications solution using Motorola digital radios.
Over 650 radios are deployed using Motorola's Capacity Plus digital trunking solution allowing event management, production teams and other event contractors to communicate effectively and securely across the site during the event, including the build-up and breakdown periods.
Additional system benefits include an 'All Call' feature allowing calls across multiple event channels simultaneously, the ability to stun lost radios and secure encryption for increased call privacy.
Our service also includes liaising with Ofcom regarding frequency management to avoid potential interference issues and providing on-site technical support during the event.
